Jennifer Golightly, LPC

Hi! Thank you for exploring your counseling options by visiting Mind Works. My name is Jennifer Golightly, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of
Texas at San Antonio in 2007 and my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Texas A&M at San Antonio in 2017. I have experience working with children ages 3-18 and their families in a variety of settings since beginning my career in direct care mental health in 2015. I received my LPC in 2019 and have since focused on being a safe and trusted professional to aid and empower children and their families to achieve their goals in their mental health journey and have experience working with the distress from symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Mood Dysregulayion, ADHD, ASD, and more.

How Can I Help

With my experience in working with children I have continued to further my education and knowledge of child, human, and life development to better aid each child in their healthy growth of emotional intelligence, self-expression, effective communication, safety and more. My goal is not to change a child, but to empower them to build resilience and be prepared for future adventures as they continue to grow. I am able to meet each child and their family at the level of care that they need, so whether you are new to counseling or have had experience with mental health rest assured that I will facilitate an opportunity for growth, development, and healing.
