Under the supervision of Sarah Lynn, LPC-S

Healing begins with connection. Thank you for taking the time to connect and learn a bit more about me. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Sarah Lynn, LPC-S. I earned my undergraduate degree from Robert Morris University located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—my hometown. I moved to San Antonio in 2020 where I attended UTSA and complete my graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have spent the last 2 years gaining experience in a variety of settings with kiddos ranging from ages 3 to 17. I have worked as an adolescent therapist in the partial hospitalization setting, and I also gained invaluable experience as a child and adolescent therapist while functioning at the inpatient level. At my core, my therapeutic passion resides in the hearts and minds of children and adolescents. For if we can teach, guide, and provide unconditional compassion to those around us, we can instill hope that healing is possible.

How I Can Help

Throughout my time as a child and adolescent therapist, I have cultivated an approach that promotes safety, comfort, and kindness paired with therapeutic intervention. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and play-based interventions through a trauma-informed scope. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Along with individual approaches, it is imperative to involve the family unit during this therapeutic process.

More About Me

Although becoming a therapist is easily the most meaningful thing I have ever done, I also find enjoyment and belonging outside of work. I have a beautiful family, supportive friends, and 2 lovely doggos (Boo and Dior) that have quite literally served as my lifelines. I love going to yoga, hiking, and playing pickleball, basketball, or softball when I’m feeling just a little competitive. Enough about me, I am so looking forward to working with your kiddo soon!
