Hello-it’s nice to meet you, my name is Holli, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (Pre-K3 through 6th grade) from Texas A&M University. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Texas State. I have worked with children from birth through college over the last thirty years. I have been a Social Worker for the last four years. Throughout my career I have had the pleasure to help children and their families cope and thrive with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, Neurodivergent diagnoses, like ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, OCD, and military life/deployments. I am passionate about empowering children and their families through difficult times.
How I Can Help
I work hard to create a space where each child/teen and family feel safe, comfortable and seen. I especially love to celebrate each individual and their strengths. I strive to get to know each child/teen and family so I can provide the best therapeutic approach to help them meet their goals. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing therapy, Trust Based Relational Intervention, and developmentally appropriate play-based interventions to help children build emotional regulation, resilience, and self-efficacy. With my background in education, I love to use a collaborative approach with families and their teachers/schools to provide wrap around support for the child/teen.
More About Me
Outside of work, I spend as much time as I can with my three grown children, my precious grandbaby and three dogs. We are a military family and have lived in three different countries and four different states. I love movies, Hockey, Hello Kitty, Minnie Mouse and Disneyland.
