Elacha Roman, LCSW

Hello, my name is Elacha , and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about supporting children and families through life’s challenges. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and my master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. With over four years of clinical experience, I have worked with children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood regulation difficulties, grief, behavioral concerns, life transitions, issues with relationship, and eating concerns.

How I Can Help

I aim to create a warm, collaborative, and welcoming environment where children feel safe to be themselves. I meet each child where they are and tailor sessions to their unique needs, personality, and strengths. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and play-based interventions to support emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, communication, and self-awareness. When appropriate and aligned with a family’s values, I also incorporate faith-based interventions as an optional source of support.

More About Me

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy curling up with a great book and my dog, Pepper. I also value time spent with my family, working on puzzles, and getting outside on the trails at my local park. I value balance, connection, and moments of calm — and I bring those same values into my work with children and families.
