Hi there! My name is Daniellie Moncivais, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. Throughout my internship and professional experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. These experiences helped shape my passion for working with children and families and supporting them through life’s challenges together.
I have experience working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, mood dysregulation, and life transitions. I am also bilingual and have experience providing therapy services in Spanish to children and families, which allows me to support clients in a way that feels culturally responsive and comfortable.
How I Can Help
I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where clients and families feel seen, heard, and valued. I strongly believe that progress happens best when parents and caregivers are included in the process, and I work collaboratively with families to help children reach their therapeutic goals.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. When working with children, I also use developmentally appropriate, play-based interventions to help build emotional regulation, resilience, and self-awareness. My goal is to support clients in developing practical skills while fostering confidence and emotional growth.
More About Me
When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy trying new restaurants, roller skating, and spending quality time with family and friends. I’m a fan of K-pop, anime, and musicals, and I enjoy using creativity and humor to connect with others. I value balance, growth, and meaningful connection, and I aim to bring a warm and approachable energy into my work with children and families.
