Cristina Campoy Lacasa

Hello! My name is Cristina and I’m a Psychometrist here at Mind Works. I’m originally from Spain, where I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Neuropsychology, and a four-year Clinical Psychology Residency (PIR) at Hospital Universitario La Paz. I am currently pursuing my PhD, focusing on the cognitive and emotional impact of CAR-T therapy in children with leukemia.

Over the years, I’ve worked in many areas of mental health: hospital units, outpatient clinics, community programs, and specialized services. I’ve supported people of all ages and have been involved in therapy, crisis support, neuropsychological assessments, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams. My passion has always been helping people understand what they’re going through and making the process feel less overwhelming.

How I Can Help

My role is to guide you and your child through psychological and neuropsychological assessments. I’ll walk you through every step, answer your questions, and make sure you feel informed and supported throughout the process. I bring over four years of intensive, supervised experience in assessment and evidence-based interventions.

Most importantly, I genuinely care about the children and families I work with. Helping them feel comfortable, understood, and supported is truly one of my favorite parts of what I do.

More About Me

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends and exploring everything Texas has to offer. I enjoy yoga, meditation, staying active, being around animals, and cooking.
