Hi, I’m Chloe. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and my Master’s degree in Counseling from St. Edward’s University, where I focused on Marriage and Family Counseling. In addition to my clinical training, I have experience working in school counseling settings, which gave me a strong understanding of the academic, social, and developmental pressures kids and teens face every day. I primarily work with children and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, big emotions, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, and identity development. I care deeply about helping young people feel understood and supported as they figure out who they are and how they want to move through the world.
How I Can Help
I aim to create a space where kids and teens feel comfortable being themselves, without feeling judged or misunderstood. I take a systems-informed approach and consider the full picture, including family dynamics, school stress, peer relationships, and developmental stages. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attachment-based work, and other evidence-based approaches, adjusting interventions to fit the individual in front of me. With younger clients, I incorporate creative and developmentally appropriate strategies to help them build emotional awareness and regulation skills. When appropriate, I collaborate with caregivers to strengthen connection at home and support progress outside of sessions.
More About Me
Outside of work, I’m usually outside on a hike or inside working on a needlepoint project I may or may not finish. I always have a book going, and I genuinely get excited about finding a good coffee shop. I spend a lot of my downtime hanging out with my two cats, Tuxie and Stevie. They are equal parts chaotic and cuddly, and they absolutely believe they are in charge of the household.
