Hello, my name is Carmina, and I am a counselor associate at Mind Works. I graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling (2023) and returned to attain a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision (2024). I have had the pleasure of serving various populations during internship and in private practice. I have experience working with teens and children struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, abuse, body image and general child behavioral challenges. It is because of that experience that I decided to follow my passion and dive fully into counseling children.
How Can I Help
I believe that I can be a vessel and part of the team that will help your child thrive in the world of today. I am a firm believer that it takes a village to help our children and with your trust and patience, we can promote long-term wellness in the lives of your children. I plan to establish strong, trusting relationships with my clients and their families to build a collaborative successful team. My ultimate goal is to effectively communicate with parents and work side by side to help children become empowered and thrive!
More about Me
In my downtime I love to spend time outdoors with my son and 2 grandchildren. I love taking trips to the beach with my family, reading, serving my community and leading self-development groups at my church.
