About me
Hello, my name is Alana Krix and I work as a Psychometrist at Mind Works. I am originally from Germany. I earned a graduate degree in Psychology from Justus Liebig University (Germany) and subsequently obtained a PhD in Psychology from Maastricht University (The Netherlands). My PhD thesis was awarded with the 2015 Dissertation Award (3rd place) of the American Psychology-Law Society. Before moving to Texas, I worked as an expert witness in criminal and family law cases in Germany for almost ten years. Here, I gained ample experience in assessing children of all ages and their primary caregivers.

In my spare time I spend as much time as I can with my family and practice yoga. I am also a cat person.
