Kailyn Arredondo, LPC

Hello! Its so nice to meet you. My name is Kailyn, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Along my journey I have gained many new insights and tools to utilize and continue helping my clients grow along their journey. Every day is a new day to learn something new. I have experience with various populations including, adults, adolescents, families, couples, and children. I have worked within both clinics and hospital settings. I enjoy meeting children at the level they are at and working our way up from there.

How I Can Help

My goal is to help your child get to where they want to be, whether this is a short or long-term goal. Each client is unique, and I want to be sure when first meeting with your child that we come up with a treatment plan to look at where your child is and what next steps we will take. I enjoy working with parents to help navigate and guide them on how to work with their child when outside of sessions. Parents you are doing a great job! You are taking steps to help your child in a positive direction, and I hope to get the privilege to help you continue that journey. Within sessions I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Techniques, and I look forward to incorporating Play Therapy to help your child express themselves. Overall, I want your child to feel they have a safe place to grasp different ways to help themselves grow within their steps of life and build on their self-worth and value.

More About Me

During my free time you will find me with my fiancé and family. I also love to watch thrillers/suspenseful movies and will always have a bowl of popcorn in my lap. I also have two fur-babies that I spend lots of time with my goldendoodle and teacup yorkie. I am extremely family orientated, and I would not be here today without the guidance of my parents. Fun fact, I was first generation to graduate with a bachelor’s as well as master’s degree, so yes it was scary, exciting, and challenging all at once, but my parents never allowed me to give up.

Again, I look forward to meeting you!
