Hello, my name is Jessica Moya, and I am a bilingual licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I received my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2015 in applied science and in 2017 my master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Master of Social Work. My clinical experience is with children and families in the school setting, juvenile department and hospice. My counseling experience has been in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and social-emotional learning.
How I Can Help
I understand the challenges and difficulties children face and experience throughout their everyday life. Know that I can provide a safe and calming place to support their individual needs. In addition, my passion lies in seeing children and adolescents thrive through social emotional learning. The approaches I use during sessions are person-centered approach, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and child centered play therapy. My certifications include Mental Health First aid as an instructor and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I am currently continuing my education in child centered play therapy.
