Evans Mochabo

Hello, my name is Evans, and I thank you for your interest in Mind Works! I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. My education began when I attended Aspen University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing and later attended Walden University for my master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I have worked in various Hospital settings including Terrell State Hospital, a mental health Hospital where I had a privilege to take care of different populations that ranged from geriatrics to children of 3 yrs to adolescents. I am an active member of the American Nurses Association.

How Can I Help

Working in collaboration with the Mind Works team, I will provide initial assessments by meeting with both parents and their child or teen and gather information to develop a diagnosis and treatment plan. If medication is needed, I will provide medication education, management, and follow up to ensure patient safety and to assess if treatment goals are being met. My hope is to provide parents and children the education and resources to overcome the challenges they face.

More about Me

I enjoy watching the news in my leisure time, reading novels to keep my mind engaged, and I also like traveling to new places. I am married and we have been blessed with three wonderful children, one boy and two girls. As a family we enjoy taking a walk around our community and enjoy the breeze from the nearby lake located at one of the recreation centers. I find my mental peace through taking long walks with my family
