Hello! My name is Andrea Toledo and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT Associate) with a deep commitment to helping children, and families, thrive. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, I pride myself on possessing a foundation of local knowledge and unwavering support for my community.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Texas A&M University, followed by my Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University. My specialized training ensures I can view challenges not in isolation, but within the context of family dynamics and relationships.
With experience spanning various age groups, I excel at connecting with clients from all walks of life, particularly children of all ages. My three years as a toddler teacher, and completion of my Child Development Associate (CDA), provide me with unique insight into early childhood development and behavior—a perspective that greatly benefits parents and young families.

I practice from an integrated and collaborative style, drawing from several evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. My primary approaches include Solutions-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), often incorporating Play Therapy to engage younger clients effectively.
My clinical background encompasses work in crisis intervention, mental health assessment, and suicide prevention with teens, and I prioritize collaboration, compassion, and clear communication to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes. I pride myself on bringing energy, empathy, and genuine perspective to every session.

When not in session, I am devoted to raising my two daughters. I enjoy creating new memories with them and my parents, often hitting the road for weekend road trips. I also enjoy reading, attending concerts, and pursuing photography.
